Relaxation - stimulates circulation & increases endorphin levels promoting a feeling of wellbeing.Using long, smooth strokes, kneading and other movements focused on superficial layers of muscle using massage oil or lotion.
Indian Head massage is so effective as it helps soothe and relax the nervous system while relieving joint and muscle stiffness. It is also a very beneficial treatment for tension headaches and eyestrain. Different strokes and pressure are used to stimulate the lymphatic and circulatory system. Done while you are seated in a chair and your feet are soaking in an aromatherapy foot bath.
Deep Tissue - focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It is designed to reach the deep sections of thick muscles, specifically the individual muscle fibres. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.
Remedial -works to heat muscles and tendons that are damaged, impaired or knotted. It holistically treats the whole body and traces the discomfort back to the original cause. It uses specialised techniques to support and speed up the body's own repair mechanisms. The massage is applied directly to the skin usually with an oil lubricant. Passive stretching moves are also employed.

Myofascial cupping - is used to expel toxins from areas of pain and tightness and uses glass or plastic cups, held by suction, to massage the body. The action on the nervous system can be sedating and the client can experience a deep state of relaxation.
It is a non-invasive way to soften broad areas of tension so that more specific massage techniques can be comfortably applied. It is a quick way to release areas where muscles and fascia are very tight. Myofascial cupping is especially effective for tightness of the iliotibial (IT) band, neck and shoulder, tightness and spasm in the middle to lower back, but can be used very effectively on most areas of the body.
In conjunction with massage the cups will provide a stretch for the muscles and fascia as well as drawing toxins to the surface.
Frequently after cupping topical red marks remain. Though they look similar to bruising, they are not painful and are an indication that toxins and stagnation are being pulled to the surface of the body to be eliminated by the lymphatic system.
Typically these red marks last between 2 to 7 days.
